Our honey is produced right here in Central Florida, unless otherwise stated. It is always raw, and never filtered (although we do have to get the wax and the occasional bee or two out, so it is strained through a sieve). Since it is always raw, It retains the enzymatic properties that so many people seek out for the perceived health properties, retains its natural flavor profile which is so valuable to single source varietals of honey, and keeps the microscopic pollen granules suspended in the honey.

Keep in mind that raw honey:

Might CRYSTALLIZE and SEPARATE into two, distinct layers in the jar,

May have foam on the surface of the honey, a sign of quality and indicates that the honey retains its protein structure (from pollen) that has NOT been denatured by heat.

Does NOT need to be refrigerated, but it will NOT degrade in quality if you do store under refrigeration,

Will darken over time.

Will NEVER spoil.

Our tupelo honey is produced in North Florida in the Apalachicola region.

Shipping:

Currently, we ship orders once per week. Orders must be placed by 4PM Eastern Standard Time on Mondays for our shipment run on Tuesday.

Return & Refund Policy:

We cannot accept returns once products have been shipped. Refunds can be made before shipping. If the product was damaged during shipping, please email a photo of the damaged product to info@thedelandhoneyco.com and we will replace it at no cost to you.
